Videography

Why should you invest in Video?

Video is a great way to communicate complex ideas in a simple and easy-to-engage with format, allowing you to share larger amounts of information with your audiences in an easily digestible way.

Many Social Media platforms also reward the use of video content – amplifying the reach of your organic content so that more people see what you are sharing and are attracted to your page.

For charities and small businesses especially, video can be a crucial component in building your reputation. Capturing the stories of your beneficiaries, or the direct impact of your work in your community can form emotional connections with your audiences.

Video doesn’t have to be complex or overly-produced to achieve good results. Take a look at some examples of this below:

Shot in two days for the Making A Difference To Maidstone team, this video aims to showcase the massive impact that the charity has on the local area in celebration of their tenth anniversary.

Created using photos and audio provided by the Street Pastors team, I joined them in Maidstone Town Centre for an evening of videography using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. All video shot ad-hoc on location with the Street Pastors team.

This project was all about creating a promotional video for Switch Youth Services which provided good insight into their services, and also helped to drive forward donations. This is the first self-produced promotional video I’ve worked on in a freelance capacity, so I learnt a lot from it’s production and have a lot of lessons which I am excited to carry forward into future production work.

This short video was created to promote the 2025 San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Rex which was sent to me by Mattel. I experimented with a unique concept for the video which was grounded in the convention theme set by Mattel. To date, this short has accrued well in excess of 300,000 views on YouTube.

Lesley’s story was created as part of ongoing retainer work for Age UK Maidstone, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. This was one in a series of five case studies shot in a day at the Tonbridge office, and then subsequently shared to raise awareness of the impact of blue badges available through the I&A service.

This was an exciting opportunity to do something different through Jurassic Collectables as part of a collaboration with Jada Toys UK for the release of the new Godzilla film. As you can see, I literally built a cardboard city for Godzilla to rampge through. Needless to say it was a lot of fun!

Why work with me?

I work on the principle that no project is too big or too small, and that the use of technology like video should be accessible for businesses and not-for-profits of every size.

I charge a flat rate for all of my work, and this extends to my videography. Whether you’re looking for a multi-day shoot or some simple content capture, you’ll pay the same per-hour rate which has been cost-modelled based on affordability.

Through both my professional work and work as a content creator in my spare time, I have developed approaches which balance the need for creativity with the need for tight work flows and efficient production of quality content.

If you’re looking for cost-effective video content which can help you to stand out from other organisations, then this is where it starts. Get in touch to find out more.
